We provide advice and guidance in relation to debt restructuring, business turnaround, managed exits and formal insolvency processes for limited companies. For individuals or partnerships, we can help with debt management using the Debt Arrangment Scheme or full and final settlements. We also advise on bankruptcy and trust deeds.
A core ethos at mlm is teamwork, both internally and externally. Our appraoch is generaly collaborative and we will work actively with our clients to find solutions. We have a number of strategic partners and can source interim managers or part time financial directors, as well as provide hands on support for turnaround. For businesses in the retail or leisure sectors, rent can be a big issue. At mlm we work with people who have experience in negotiating with commercial landlords to help secure more affordable terms. This can mean the difference between a business surviving or failing.
We are also aware about the stress which financial problems can cause for people and we work with the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH), providing support for debt surgeries.
